Pendant la seconde guerre mondiale ma mère, anglaise, a subi les bombardements intenses de la Luftwaffe. Mon père, officier de l’armée britannique, a passé près de deux ans dans un camp de prisonniers de guerre de l’Italie fasciste. Jamais, mais jamais ils n’ont remis en question leur enfance volée - pour ma mère - et les privations de la guerre et de la prison. Pourtant les britanniques avaient le choix en ´39 de ne pas déclarer la guerre à l’Allemagne. Ils avaient le choix après l’invasion de la France de capituler et de sauver les vies et leurs villes. Ils ne l’ont pas fait. Au nom de mes parents je ne plaiderai jamais la capitulation face à la Russie et je m’opposerai sans relâche face à ceux qui le font: pour mes enfants français.
