What are our KNIGHTS reading during the break? I just finished, SMART ABOUT SHARKS by Owen Davey. I learned that a shark has 40/45 teeth. They have rows of backup teeth for when the front tooth is broken off. Throughout the life of a shark, they may go through 30,000 teeth! 😳

Today first grade students heard from Mrs. Becky Fejarang who is on a mission to help provide comfort to the homeless here in SWLA! Mrs. Becky shared with students the journey that a plastic shopping bag goes through in order to create a mat for the homeless.

Water is hot at 211 degrees...at 212 degrees water starts turning into steam! ONE DEGREE “more” defines the difference in staying in one place or generating the force to move! At SBE we are creating STEAM to move forward in a positive direction for our students academic success!
