Interesting. There is much experimentation, with new ideas and organisations, required in Western military forces on this issue. Just as the 1920’s and 30s saw experiments with aircraft, subs, marines and carriers, so too must we step up, take risks and try new ways of operating.

In the late 80's I was a Cryptologist @NSAGov and developed this little device called the "whiz wheel" for U.S. Special Forces. A chance meetup with an ex-SF'er at the last in-person @defcon renewed interest in the wheel and prompted him to make this happen. #infosec #honored
