@AyanfeOfGod@SamODamilare I hope you don't misunderstand me
I agree that not all believers speak in tongues, I also disagree that one won't fulfill destiny if they don't speak in tongues
Your argument pushes a narrative of innuendo, and I want you to directly confront it with a direct statement from him
@001Oxygen First, you cannot say someone is better than another if you haven't seen both in action. What then is the basis of the comparison? Messi wasn't the only player in that era
Secondly, people have a right to have a choice that isn't yours, it's not denial
Lastly, Ronaldo is the GOAT
@General_D__ He failed woefully
They turned him away from God to other gods, which was the beginning of his sorrows and lamentations.
God overlooked many things with Solomon because he was David's son
@Fikayo_Judith@deltanmuslimah Actually, no one is a Christian until they begin to live and act like christ
The disciples believed in christ, confessed him, and followed him but didn't earn the "title" until they saw the character of Jesus in them.
It's not a doctrine or anything. It's just what scripture says
revelation you come into needs to be shared, and also we must learn to take the word of God as it is, because all these vast reading and learning can make mad in the words of Festus to Paul. Too much knowledge can be a curse sometimes
Lol
Please talk too much because this is a serious matter.
Permit me to do a thread @Row_Haastrup
1. My response on spirit came because both your response and the post quoted give the idea that spirits don't go to hell, reason why I said hell was created for spirits.
There are several category errors here that need to be corrected biblically @_daddyFigure
1. Hell being prepared for spirits does not mean spirits are autonomous beings God must “redeem.”
Yes, hell was prepared for the devil and his angels (Matt 25:41).
But angels are not human spirits. They are a different order of beings, created as spirits…
“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” - Hebrews 1:14
Human spirits are the breath of life given by God, as described in my earlier tweet which you responded to, not independent moral agents like angels.
Ownership does not imply redemption.
God reclaims what is His whether in judgment or salvation…
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” - Ecclesiastes 12:7
2. Redemption in Scripture applies to persons, not the spirit as an abstract substance.
What is redeemed or lost is the person/soul
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” - Matthew 16:26
No verse says a “spirit” is redeemed, saved, or damned independently of the person.
3. The soul is not “an idea of a person.”
That is philosophy, not Scripture.
Biblically, the soul (nephesh / psyche) is the living person, the seat of identity, will, and accountability…
“…the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” - Ezekiel 18:4b
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” - Revelation 20:12
Let me just stop here; una don Dey make me talk too much
people is; at the end of the day, what is the goal of this rhema being shared? Why are you telling people their spirit won't go to hell? How does that glorify Jesus and edify the saints. This is where Christians, especially preachers, should learn to balance knowledge, not every
@Row_Haastrup This isn't correct
Hell was clearly designed for spirits (fallen angels), these are spirits made by God. The question then will be, why didn't he redeem the "spirit" to himself as a form of ownership?
The soul is immaterial; space, it is an idea of a person.
@maxvayshia If God, Jesus, and the people who were with him agree that he ascended with his physical body, then he did, no theory or scientific deduction changes that
HE IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD WITH HIS PHYSICAL BODY (WHICH HIS DISCIPLES TOUCHED) MAKING INTERCESSION FOR US!
@maxvayshia Read till the end, hoping to see it was a joke, alas.
Many things about the coming and ascension of Jesus weren't possible, yet they happened anyway, birth by a virgin, defiling laws of the earth. Ascension can't be an exception.
Enoch, Elijah, Melchizedek are clear examples, too
@RichyDonPapa@Albeegrind@omoelerinjare@ChuksEricE@ejykmykel1@HeDontMakeNoise It's a crime to be loud and dull at the same time.
What exactly is your point?
You say Nigerian Christians are defending preachers and their evil, "religious fanatics" yet you're trying to quiet someone calling out the evil. Can't you see you're the problem?
@RichyDonPapa@Albeegrind@omoelerinjare@ChuksEricE@ejykmykel1@HeDontMakeNoise Obviously, you're the crazy one. You can't tell the difference between what a man was and what he is, also you can't tell that this isn't the case of not offering grace, because grace is offered to accountable and repentant people. Clearly, you lack understanding of the discuss.
@RichyDonPapa@Albeegrind@omoelerinjare@ChuksEricE@ejykmykel1@HeDontMakeNoise "Who DID"
Every information you have about him, he publicly said it himself, pointing out his days of sin and he was accountable.
Meanwhile, you're the one trying to defend preachers evil and trying to shut up the person not defending the evil.
