I guess we'll never know where Harvard gets us
But seein' my family have it all
Took the place of that desire for diplomas on the wall
And really, I think I like who I'm becoming
There's times where I might do it just to do it like it's nothing
There's times where I might blow like 50K on a vacation
For all my soldiers, just to see the looks on all they faces
All it took was patience
If there's one thing I've learned in the crypto world, it's that resilience pays off.
It's about sticking around, weathering the storms, and being there for the next upcycle.
Most who've seen success didn't get it on the first try.
It's those second, third cycles where things really start to click.
Hang in there and you will reap the rewards.
I’ve meet many people asking for life advice.
When we sit for a conversation on a deeper level, most of them want to “happy.” It could be my current scandals or a man in his 40s.
“Happy” is a state that cannot remain permanent. It’s setting yourself up for failure.
Instead, walk this path I’ve taken. Walk the path of growth, abundance and uncertainty. Growth as in always learning and self improvement. Abundance as in giving without the expectation for any returns. If someone screws me over, it’s fine. Move on. In life, you only need a few good brothers who have your back regardless.
And I’ll end with a famous quote done in one of my videos. “The happiest people in the world are those most comfortable with uncertainty.”
Hope this message helps you walk the better path.
- I was homeless living in my car for 4-5 months. I would park in Anytime Fitness parking lot (24h gym) to sleep in my back seat. When the sun woke me up in the morning, I'd grab my gym bag + fresh change of clothes in the back of my trunk. The left half of the trunk was dirty clothes, the right half was clean. I'd go work out for an hour and a half, then toilet/shower/shave & change. I'd then spend the entire day looking for a job that never came.
This was in 2013 or 2014.
- I made 2.8 million and lost it all in the crypto bear market. I admitted defeat and retreated back home to live with my mom & dad (I didn't even have a car to live in). After I already lost literally everything, tax agents came knocking on my door. They said I was under criminal investigation for not paying my taxes. After getting a lawyer (who helped pro-bono, thank god) and making 'enough' to pay crypto accountants, I realized I was over -$550,000 in tax debt to the government.
This was in 2019.
To this day, I don't know which experience was/is worse. Both drowned me in suicidal depression. Though, thankfully by 2019 I had enough experience with depression to know how to handle it.
It just turned 2024 now. I paid off the -$550,000 tax debt, fully, and am expecting to break 8-figures for the first time ever, in the next 3 months.
Lightning strikes twice.
I learned a lot from my crypto investing mistakes over the years & have created a 'masterpiece' portfolio management strategy. If you'd like to learn it, bookmark & read everything in this thread: https://t.co/CERABmrwOn
For the people only starting off
Don’t expect to be carried
Your closest friends will be your least supportive
If they do not support you, then you should not care what they think of your actions
Every Entrepreneur has one thing in common: they never give up.
Go start that business.
