After I finish a design project,
the last thing I want to do is open Figma again just to make a post image.
I usually default to a plain screenshot.
That’s why I built Reframe.
(Entirely in @Figma Make!)
Paste any image — and an entire grid of layout options generates instantly.
Pick one.
Edit.
Copy.
Post.
No extra layout.
No extra steps.

Design lead for Claude: The classic design process is dead.
Here's what's replacing it.
Jenny Wen (@jenny_wen) leads design for Claude at @AnthropicAI, was previously director of design at @Figma, and a designer at @Dropbox, @Square, and @Shopify.
In our in-depth conversation, we discuss:
🔸 Why the classic discovery → mock → iterate design process is becoming obsolete
🔸 What a day in the life of a designer at Anthropic looks like, including her AI tool stack
🔸 Whether AI will eventually surpass humans in taste and judgment
🔸 Why Jenny left a director role at Figma to return to IC work
🔸 The three archetypes Jenny is hiring for now
This conversation changed how I think about the future of design.

My book “The First Product Manager” is finally coming together.
Why another book on product management?
I spent the last 8 years doing product management.
Or what I call “modern product management”.
During that time one thing stuck with me:
>> The pace at which product management evolves is insane 🤯
When I started PM-ing, people laughed at waterfall development...
Today it's a matter of time until the same happens to Agile.
The reason?
Product Management democratization.
Last month only, 30,000 product managers roles were created on @glassdoor
Yes... you heard this well.
30k PM job offers, on one single platform.
Businesses proved that great products can make you win. This explains why companies like Spotify have more users than Apple Music.
At the same time, knowledge spread faster than ever, through platforms like Twitter or Substack.
>> In less than a decade, anyone with the internet can become a PM.
Yet, one topic is systematically missing from the radar:
>> Product management in early-stage startups <<
The best books on product management simply don't apply to them.
Startup time is the most limited resource a startup has.
And so spending time on the wrong things is what kills it.
The goal of this book is to provide some guidance.
And de-risk product development for startups.
In particular pre-product/market fit.
It's also catered to later-stage businesses, that want to be more efficient, like they were in the early days.
The businesses that miss the mindset their first PM had.
I’m wrapping up the book by the end of the summer 📆
Then it'll go to editing.
Thanks for all the feedback and support so far 🙏
You're the one pushing me to write this book!
This is by far the biggest chunk of writing I’m involved in. And gosh... what a chunk 😉

If you're reading this, chances are I'm writing this book for you.
Can’t wait to bring this book to the world!
I have a template that I use when mentoring someone. The template outlines the responsibilities of their current role and their potential future role. I use yellow stickies to keep track of efforts that support those responsibilities. I am thinking of creating a template for the @figma community. Would you be interested in using it?
You're fortunate if you have a great manager who keeps track of your accomplishments. Ultimately, though we are our biggest advocates. No one else will put as much effort into our growth as we will. That's why I think it's essential that we track our accomplishments ourselves and not rely on others to do it for us.
What do you think?
$20M/year & 100% bootstrapped
In 2019, they were called "IDIOTS" as they were building a product that already existed.
In 2023, their business is better than most VC-backed startups.

Hey nerds. I open-sourced the scroll library I use across all of my websites. It’s performant as all hell, has a small footprint, and a simple api. Enjoy it, babes.

Last year I realized that while I can do brand work, I'm just not on the level of a pure brand specialist. I'm much more excited to take their work, and translate it into the website. They can focus on what they love, I focus on what I love, and the client wins with amazing work.
I've found a passion for teaching, and I'm so excited to share that the course I've been working on is finally launching two weeks from today! 🎉 This course is about helping anyone learn and level up in Figma, no matter where you're starting from.

Something that hasn't been done before...
I'm going to build a working Email Client using Webflow (or maybe Framer) & turn it into a desktop app.
