“You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.”
Don't worry about it. The Chinese also invented gunpowder, and then literally didn't invent guns because they were using it for fireworks. They love fireworks. They will always use technology for fireworks. They can't help themselves.

What Alex Eala is doing internationally is big news, but still not being glorified enough back here at home. What she is doing on the biggest stages is incredible. Every person in the country should be talking about her. Amazing!!! Go Alex!
INDIGENOUS TAIWANESE ROW TO BATANES USING LONG LOST SEA ROUTE 🌊
A group of indigenous Taiwanese left on Monday, June 15 to paddle to the Philippines on a hand-built wooden canoe across the Bashi Channel, reviving a maritime route dormant for hundreds of years and re-establishing a lost cultural connection.
The Tao people of Taiwan's Orchid Island, sitting in the Pacific Ocean some 50 nautical miles off the southeastern county of Taitung, are closely related to the indigenous people of the Batanes Islands to the north of the Philippines' Luzon.
The 20-seat canoe, named "Ovayan" or "Golden Friendship," was crafted by builders from six communities on Orchid Island as part of a government-backed project, and the trip will take around 24 hours with 60 people taking turns to row.
Maraos, who goes by one name, chairperson of Taiwan's Indigenous Peoples Cultural Foundation and himself a Tao from Orchid Island, said the goal was to re-connect the long forgotten sea route between the island and Batanes.
The Bashi Channel is a highly strategic waterway connecting the South China Sea to the Pacific, and where Chinese warships frequently patrol.
Hsieh Hsiu-hsiung, one of the rowers, said the boat was being accompanied by other vessels for safety reasons, so the team members are not afraid of sailing long distance. | via Reuters
