Gooood luck y’aaaall
Oh look the Conservatives have changed their Twitter handle to provide a faux veneer of independence to attacks on Labour tonight. Whatever your politics, this should not be ok. It’s deliberately misleading and undermines trust.
If the mathematics of England's last-16 draw are confusing you, it's really very simple. If Portugal win this game then England will be losing 2-0 to the Netherlands in the last-16, but if Georgia win it then England will be losing on penalties to Slovakia.
Farmer Henry Ward, "I literally can't believe it. I stood on the bridge with the Chairman of the Environment Agency, the Minister for Flooding, NFU president, looking at 2,000 acres of land with 2 meters of water on it. It didn't even cross my mind that I wouldn't be eligible for this money"
Only the Conservative party could have a policy, a plan, that denies farmers whose fields are flooded, from flooding compensation 🤷♂️
If you're a farmer, stop voting Conservative. They lied over Brexit, the trade deals with Australia/NZ are harm your business, and when you're flooded, you're excluded from compensation

Mone and Barrowman deserve zero credit for confessing now, only after they’ve exhausted all other options and realise they’re completely banged to rights.
The situation is quite straightforward.
If they broke the law to secure this loot, they should both go to jail.
If they were able to help themselves to it without breaking the law, then Johnson, Gove and/or Hancock should go to jail for not protecting public money properly.
Remember, this is no petty crime.
Think of a £50 note. What would it mean for you if you found one in the street…what difference could it make to your life? Now, what if you found 10 of them? What about 100?
Well, that imaginary stack of 100 £50 notes would be just over 1cm high. But you’d need a stack one-and-a-half times the height of Big Ben to match the £60,000,000 of PROFIT these people made supplying unusable PPE during the pandemic.
One-and-a-half times the height of Big Ben…just let that sink in for a second.
How is it that thousands of people in this country have been jailed for not paying their TV license (about three £50 notes) and these people not only aren’t in court but are being given a slot on prime-time TV to argue their case?
Something really is rotten in Tory Britain today.

Rage Against The Machine played a session on @bbc5live - they’d been asked not sing a certain line that literally said they don’t like being told what to do. You can guess the rest…

You guys need to retake your Constitutional Law modules again (not that any of you studied them anyway). The Rule of Law is sovereign based on a delicate balancing act of the balance of power between the legislature, the Executive and the judiciary. There have to be checks and balances across all three for our country to function. The real issue is all of you think you can do away with long-established rules as you see fit. Newsflash: you can't.
