Ran my first real App Store Search Ads campaign for the app.
Didnโt go how I hoped ๐
But honestly, this is the part nobody talks about enough:
Iteration.
Testing keywords.
Testing creatives.
Testing positioning.
Testing onboarding.
Testing retention.
Back to the drawing board now โ hopefully a little smarter than before ๐
i'm LEAKING our entire carousel + slideshow system:
we use this to produce 900+ pieces of content per client per month across Instagram and TikTok...
this is literally the system that's outperforming reels for save rates, DM shares, and substantive comments
like + comment "SLIDES" and i'll send it over
(must be following + RT for priority access)
TikTok slideshows might be one of the best app marketing channels right now.
No expensive UGC.
No polished edits.
No talking to camera.
Just:
โข Strong hook
โข Fast pacing
โข Problem/solution
โข Screenshots
โข CTA
Feels like organic app distribution is shifting from โcontent creationโ to attention engineering.
Testing this heavily for app growth over the next few weeks ๐
Just finished setting up AppsFlyer to start testing paid TikTok ads for my app ๐
Honestly feels like Iโm entering a completely different game now.
Building the app was one challenge.
Learning acquisition, attribution, CAC, creatives, and retention is a whole new skill set.
Letโs see if I can turn 125 downloads into something bigger ๐
