Tony Leung on the reason why this dance scene wasn't in the final cut of Wong Kar-wai's "In the Mood for Love" (2000):
"Maggie Cheung and I did an Opera-singing scene and there was a dancing one too. I don't know why it was never used. Maybe they found it too funny, so it wasn't used. We rehearsed it in the Hotel room. Fortunately, only a little footage was shot. Because there was little to laugh about [in the movie]. Every scene was 'Heavy'. For an actor, it is difficult."
(Criterion, 2012)
A bit of fabulous Matthew Bourne #ballet tonight… The Red Shoes at @bradfordtheatre Alhambra was sensational - the dancing, set design, music, sound & lighting design and wardrobe all immaculate - a total joy.

Ewden Beck stone circle ⭕️, Broomhead moor, #Derbyshire
Great views & quiet walk on this Peak District moor with a fairly disguised Bronze Age ring cairn - lots of hidden small stones on the gentle slope next to the beck. Only a couple of good size stones

Wet Withens stone circle ⭕️ and barrow this sunny Sunday morning. Eyam moor, #Derbyshire#PeakDistrict
Lovely Bronze Age embanked stone circle with the ‘Chair’ stone and barrow next to it. Largest embanked circle in Derbyshire.

@markwaller1884 Yes indeed it is, pulled down by farmers apparently 👀
Good time of year as the heather is pretty thin and low so other stones are quite visible near by too…
Lunch with a view.

Il Harga L’Wieafa standing stone in Qala, Gozo.
A huge stone, pyramidal shape 1.7m at its base and tapering upwards to a flat top height of 3.9m. Maybe a temple stone rather than menhir as excavations of prehistoric pottery found near it
