Came to this country & started my MBA almost 2 years ago. Today, the only word I feel is grateful:
- Grateful to have gotten my dream job at Goldman Sachs & be returning this summer.
- Grateful to be graduating with no loans/debt, due to the university’s generosity & the support of my family.
- Grateful to have secured permanent residency & be building a new, second home here - Grateful to have gotten an academic award amidst a career and life transition
- Grateful to all the people who have helped and supported me in every way. Grateful for every kind smile or warm word. People here have been so good to me.
I just met this Dutch guy who lives at a border town in Netherlands.
He says he lives 5 min walk and 1 min drive from Germany. He says he goes to Germany to buy gas because it’s cheaper there 😂.
I’m learning that you never really get over grief. You just learn healthy ways to live with it.
I still tear up when I think of painful periods from my past.
I acknowledge it and move forward.
Hey @Google excited to be here. This has been a dream of mine. Time to unlearn, learn and relearn. Cheers to this amazing journey 🎉😍😋

In 2024, I’m enjoying romance
Flowers, poetry, cute dinners, words of affirmation & all that good stuff
It will be so massive, I will be tempted to create a TikTok account with username ‘The spoilt girlfriend’
BTW, I’m not even in a talking stage RN but my dreams ALWAYS come….
I promised a few friends I’d share details about my career journey, and how it led me to the BBC World Service✨
Here, is What It Took Me to Join the BBC👇 https://t.co/E4uglnsgAj
@sterlinghelp I made a transfer of 900,000 naira yesterday, I was debited, the funds didn’t get to the recipient. I’ve been calling you and sending DMs and no one is responding.
Your approach is so flawed and outrightly disgusting
@sterlinghelp You sent this exact response 2 hours ago
It’s getting disgusting
You don’t keep someone’s N900,000 & keep dropping charades of comments under the disguise you are doing something about it
Respond to my direct messages so we can stop this back & forth in public. It’s embarrassing
First day at the BBC!🥳
I’m excited to serve @BBCWorld as an audio journalist with the Africa Content Hub to tell the continent’s stories and report on issues to the world✨
@sterlinghelp@Sterling_Bankng I hear you, do respond to my DM because I don’t see how you are ‘fixing’ this without any information from me and kindly treat this as extremely urgent
