We northerners must resist any tendency to normalise this. We must never grow numb to this. This is not normal anywhere. Our lives matter too!

1. Our #Arewa is rudderless, lawless and leader-less. This cannot happen anywhere else in Nigeria and all their leaders do is shrug.

2. Both @KatsinaStateNg and @GovNigeria must take full responsibility for this massacre and must not only root out the perpetrators but also adequately compensate the victim’s families.
