The 2019 Toronto Raptors are one of the 5 best teams I've ever seen in the 21st century.

It was more than just Kawhi. It was Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Serge Ibaka and Pascal. It was Norm, OG and Fred. It was depth. It was coaching. It was chemistry. It was spacing.

In the regular season, the team coasted. In the playoffs they turned it up into high gear.

That team had everything. Rim protection, wing defense, point of attack pests. They had elite closers, high IQ basketball players.

I'm not just saying this because they won. They would beat the living shit out of the 2025 OKC Thunder, the 2024 Boston Celtics OR the 2023 Denver Nuggets. And it wouldn't be close.

ANYONE trying to discredit that ring needs to understand the path.

Americans will bend every single hypothetical to discredit that team and that championship. I'll remind you that team was SO GOOD that they lost Kawhi, lost Danny and had a better win/loss record the next year.
