Her parents were abusive and they routinely beat her and her brother when she was still a toddler.

During junior high, she was targeted by bullies who physically beat her and cut her hair just because of the unusual color 💔.

Even when she was prisoner in Hueco Mundo, she was brutally beaten and physically degraded by the those bitches Loly and Menoly.

She also endured a massive emotional loss when her older brother who literally raised her, died in a car accident when she was twelve. She even had to live alone for many years.

Her constant happiness and refusal to retaliate are like her ways of coping with this past and avoiding causing pain to others.
