What’s this chokehold that the solar eclipse has on us? I deserve to be allowed to take a rawdog little gander at the sky today and the moon boy can’t stop me.
It’s estimated that an approx 1/100 people have celiac disease—but 10 years ago they thought it was 1/10,000. I’m not asking for money, I’m not asking for a movement, I’m only asking for awareness and resources.
Celiac service dogs are a very new thing. Hopefully, spreading the news and making the knowledge of them more well-known could help push for these programs to continue and expand.
Even for people who maintain a 100% gluten free diet—the only treatment shared—symptoms (including chronic pain, brain fog, nausea, immune disorders, etc) still flare up and persist.
Thinking about this one sweet dog I got to pet who gave me a kiss and then her owner said she never kisses people and that it’s been like 4 years since she even kissed the owner. What a small thing that brings me so much calm.
I got out of work 15 min late which wasn’t a huge deal but I’m now well over an hour into my 3 miles bus ride home and I’m not feeling particularly jolly.
