I went to watch basketball yesterday, and after the game, we all sat down, joking and chatting. Some ladies were passing by, and the guys started making comments about how some women come around at night pretending to ride bicycles when they actually have other intentions.

One of the guys said something about women disgracing themselves, and another guy casually replied, “It’s better you go and advise your own sister. Person wey I don pump tire.”

Omo everybody went quiet. Nobody said a word. The guy he directed it at got angry and eventually left.

When he left, we tried explaining to the other guy that comments like that are not something you should say casually.
