Msgr. #Pegoraro (#PAV): "Following Leo XIV’s approach, the deepest point of convergence between the Taipei Declaration and the reflection of the Academy I preside is the recognition that the dignity of the human person is inviolable, even in the face of technological progress".
Islington was painted red today, as generations of fans lined the streets to celebrate Arsenal men’s team winning the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, and the women’s team clinching the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 🏆
Just moments after PSG made history and retained the Champions League, Marquinhos wasn’t leading the celebrations.
Instead, he headed straight over to Gabriel, whose missed penalty had just broken hearts, to put an arm around him and offer a few words of support.
At the biggest moment of his own career, his first thought was for someone else.
A real moment of class from him. 👏
An unbelievable season which didn’t end in the way we all dreamed of. That doesn’t change the fact we are still champions of England!
Looking forward to celebrating that with the thousands of fans tomorrow in North London!
Thank you for all the support this season ❤️
@RealKoenaza BOTSWANA one and it's simple but true meaning : A Peaceful multiracial nation ( black and white) all living together under one sky (blue). The only African flag that has no green, red or yellow.... and all those multiple interpretations.
Eid Mubarak Al-Adha to us champions, May Allah bless you abundantly. 🤍❤️
Thank you to Arsenal for the Eid present of a Premier League title 22 years in the making! Inshallah there's another Eid present on the cards 👀🏆

This week at #WHA79 , we joined @WHO, @_AfricanUnion & partners for a high-level meeting moderated by @ALMA_2030's @JoyPhumaphi_ , reaffirming a shared commitment to strengthening cross-border collaboration and accelerating the elimination of #malaria & #NTDs.
Some takeaways:
✅ Integrated, resilient health services are essential for sustaining impact
✅Cross-border collaboration is critical as mobility & climate change reshape disease transmission
✅Declining external funding underscores the need for stronger national ownership and increased domestic financing for health
Africa’s fight against #malaria is at a critical turning point.
At the 79th World Health Assembly, African leaders and global health partners came together to champion sustainable financing, country-led action, innovation, and stronger partnerships to drive the Big Push against Malaria.
With Africa accounting for 96% of global malaria cases and 97% of deaths, leaders called for urgent action to protect progress and accelerate toward elimination.
From increased domestic financing to local manufacturing and multisectoral action, the message was clear, ending #malaria requires all of us working together.
