One thing I have noticed about modern medicine in Nigeria, it takes us about 20years to catch up practically. The knowledge may be there but it takes us an average of 20years to make some of the procedures routine over here.
Can that practice be tagged modern??
As a man, endeavor to have friends that can hold your hand when the road gets tough, that you can have those honest conversations without being judged. Friends that will be pillars of support.
You need a space to release your mind.
To be a man is not a days job.~ Flavor N’abania
What i fail to understand is how the same army that did exploits in Liberia 🇱🇷 and Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 will have both Generals and retired Generals in captive and dying in the hands of terrorists and can’t do jack about it.
What has happened to our army?? 💔💔💔
On a Monday morning in March 2023, Amara Nwosu woke up to discover she had bought a house.
She had not bought a house.
She had never signed any document.
She had never met the seller.
But somewhere in the Lagos land registry, her BVN, her NIN, her signature — perfect, precise, indistinguishable from the one she had used her entire adult life — had authorised the purchase of a property worth ₦47 million.
And the loan taken to buy it was in her name.
Amara was 34.
A data analyst at a telecoms firm in Victoria Island.
She was the kind of person who used different passwords for different accounts, who read privacy policies, who had set up two-factor authentication on everything she owned before most Nigerians knew what two-factor authentication meant.
She was, professionally and personally, a woman who understood how data worked.
Which is why, when she saw the loan alert on her phone at 6:47am, her blood went cold in a specific way.
Not panic.
Recognition.
Someone had been inside her life.

@Sinawo_Thambo@DavymartinCE0 Years of goodwill gone . It will take a mountain to correct this. Irrespective of what the truth maybe, the perception now is that South Africa 🇿🇦 is a country that hates their fellow black.
On FRCN yesterday DG Jide Idris discussed Nigeria's preparedness for Ebola and what Nigerians should know to stay safe.
“This is a new Ebola strain with no vaccine yet — but Nigeria is taking it seriously and strengthening our readiness across airports, labs and health facilities.
"Ebola can present like other fevers — if you’re unwell after travel, seek care promptly and avoid self-treatment to protect yourself and others.” ~ Dr. Jide Idris, DG NCDC
