Hasan Piker says that anyone who thinks Communist Party Politicians can win elections in American are delusional about the popularity of Communism among Americans.

Leaving aside the fact that there are many forms of political power that exist outside of bourgeois elections, he’s correct that Communism is widely unpopular with regular Americans.

But ask yourself WHY that is? Could it have anything to do with the fact that those calling themselves Communists over the past 10+ years have been morally self-righteous liberals, who insist on enforcing their cultural views on everybody in the name of Vladimir Lenin?

Could it be that instead of going to striking workplaces & speaking with the workers, Communists have been attending liberal protest movements and aligning themselves with the Democratic Party, just as it has become completely detached from any kind of working class politics?

Could it be because large leftist influencers like Hasan Piker refuse to state what they actually believe & convince people of the correctness of the Communist worldview, instead choosing to pander to Democratic Party aligned radlibs?

Consider the possibility that if Communists actually acted like Communists, it wouldn’t be such an unpopular worldview in America.

And the solution to this isn’t to run and hide into the arms of the Democratic Party, it is to fight back & dismantle the lies about Communism, giving the people a real example of what our movement has always been about.

You can either whine & cry about Communisms popularity, or you can be part of the movement to popularize it again. Make your choice.

One of the things ACP said that struck us was rebranding communist back as an ideology - to its literal roots, which highly compatible w/ disgruntled rural & everyday labor class aka the "baskets of deplorables".

Socially conservative often (but not required), family oriented, often religious w/ an anti-capitalist / anti-fascist framework. This is a lot more welcoming of a pitch than the goofball goth parking lot rave furry energy we seen the last few years.
