BREAKING: Vice President J.D. Vance is caught in a humiliating abuse of scandal power as it's revealed that he made the Army Corps of Engineers raise the level of the Ohio River for his family boating trip.

He's becoming more like Trump every day...

According to a bombshell report in the Guardian, the U.S. Secret Service requested that the engineers alter the outflow of a lake, adjusting the river level, in order to "support safe navigation" for Vance's security detail during his outing on the Little Miami River. Vance was in Ohio on August 2nd for his 41st birthday.

The drastic water change was not just to ensure safe conditions however. One source informed the Guardian that the request was also meant to create "ideal kayaking conditions," which sounds much more like the true reason that was then papered over.

The idea that Vance would abuse public resources for personal enjoyment while being a central cog in a disastrous administration that is slashing funding across the country in a transparently false drive to eliminate "waste, fraud, and abuse" should infuriate every American.

Ethics lawyer Richard Painter served in the George W Bush administration and called it "pretty outrageous" that Vance would be engaged in this kind of behavior while the administration slashes funding for the National Park Service.

“Those cuts are directly impacting middle-class families’ vacations,” said Painter. “Whether they are doing it for the Secret Service or for him I think is splitting hairs. What he ought to be doing is choosing another place.”

While the USACE will sometimes modify outflows for public enjoyment, including for "community river events and training for emergency responders," the Guardian's source said that these sorts of "special releases" aren't normally done for individuals.

In other words, if you head to Ohio for your birthday, don't expect for them to raise the water levels for you. That treatment is reserved for powerful political figures willing to abuse their position.

Former White special counsel for ethics and government reform also slammed Vance over the scandal—

"When I was President Obama’s ethics czar in the White House I got a lot of unusual requests, but I never got one to increase the outflow of a waterway as part of a government official going kayaking," said Eisen.

“My nickname was ‘Mr No’ and I certainly would have lived up to it in this situation," he continued. "I never would have permitted this kind of a thing because whether it technically violates the rules or not, it creates the appearance that the vice-president of the United States is getting special treatment that’s not available to the average person who wants to utilize that body of water for recreational purposes."

“While there may well be security-related explanations or justifications that come into the analysis, my reaction is: I don’t care. We shouldn’t be utilizing government resources in this way. I never would have allowed it," he added.

Of course, none of this should surprise us at this point. This is MAGA epitomized. The people at the top of the Republican Party are members of a wealthy, insulated oligarchy. They're worsening quality of life for the rest of us while living high on the hog. They have absolutely no shame and our only recourse is to vote them out en masse and never allow them back into power.

BREAKING: An attorney who represented over 200 of Jeffrey Epstein's victims drops a bombshell on Donald Trump by revealing that he knows where to find the birthday book containing his creepy drawing and letter to Epstein.

And it gets so much better...

Attorney Bradley Edwards says that the book is currently in the possession of the Epstein estate in Florida and it exists for an "absolute fact." He stated that he nows the estate executors and believes that they would relinquish the book if subpoenaed by Congress.

"I do know that they were involved in the assembly of the book, several of them,” Edwards said, speaking about "multiple" victims during an appearance on MSNBC’s "The Last Word."

"They were told by Ghislaine to assist in putting the book together," he added. "Others have seen the book post-birthday and after it was assembled. So the existence of the book is an absolute fact.”

“They would turn the book over immediately,” said Edwards. "Nobody would have to guess. You would immediately have the answers. You could flip to the page. Is there a letter? Is there not a letter? It’s over. The victims then get to move on. But that’s not what’s happening. Real people are being hurt here. The truth matters, transparency actually matters. Get this over with and get it behind us.”

The book in question was recently revealed by The Wall Street Journal and is said to contain a bawdy letter from Trump to Epstein as well as a sketch of a naked woman and Trump's signature. Trump is insisting that the letter is "fake" and claims that he has never been one to draw pictures, despite a long documented history of doodling. He's currently suing the Journal over the reporting.

Edwards said that if the book does end up being released, "it should probably be set in the Smithsonian as an artifact at this point in time.”

“It’s going to go down in history,” said the attorney. “So that the world can see this book and they’ll know who were Jeffrey Epstein’s best friends at the time? What letters did his family write to him? What other pictures were in there? Redact victim names, release the book and move on.”

“Now, who wrote letters, what’s in the book?” he continued. “You’re going to have to get the book to figure it out. But this isn’t something that needs to be a mystery forever and drag the victims into all kinds of anxiety, for nothing. We can get that answer pretty quickly."

"You have to remember that Jeffrey Epstein was abusing and exploiting young women and children every day of his life," he went on. "So anybody that’s around for any major events, such as the assembly of his 50th birthday book, they’re going to have to be involved in assembling or playing their part, whatever they were directed to do with respect to that book.”

Edwards said that the victims are dealing with "enormous anxiety" about the scandal becoming a big political football.

"The one thing that has really alarmed our clients is the information that now Ghislaine Maxwell is being visited in jail and that she is somehow being given some credibility and a platform on this particular topic," he said. "Does she have information that could potentially help? Yes. Will she be truthful about it? Who knows?“

"I have many clients who say, ‘President Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell were good friends back then. Is he going to pardon her?’" added Edwards. "For him to do that, would be, he thought about you and he decided you do not matter. I don’t think that is on the table, maybe I’m putting too much trust in him.”

It's time to put this story to bed and give the victims some peace by revealing the full, unvarnished truth. Congress must subpoena this book immediately.
