Keep in mind that Indigenous people who served in WW1 were denied plots of land upon return and weren’t allowed inside RSL’s. The racism they faced after serving our country was disgusting. And people choose to do this. Fuck your Anzac Day.

Yes the Strait of Hormuz being closed and gas prices being high are bad but also IRANIAN CHILDREN ARE BEING MURDERED and we should probably be much angrier about that.
Block the straight of Hormuz for a week and the world goes mad but block the Rafah crossing for years, preventing the entry of food and humanitarian aid into Gaza and nobody bats an eye. It’s not hard to see that this world values markets, profit and capitalism over human lives.

During the First Intifada (uprising) 1987-1993, Christian Palestinian towns such as Beit Sahour and Beit Jala near Bethlehem led strong nonviolent resistance movements against the jewish occupation.
In response, the occupation imposed a 42-day curfew, cut off food and communications, imprisoned dozens, and confiscated millions in property.

I hope more people see this. Resistance in Palestine has never been about religion. Palestinian Christians have fought alongside Muslims, side by side, to defend their land, their home.
