The #Ethiopia|n Prime Minister #AbiyAhmed’s administration has made every effort to deny and cover-up the atrocities taking place in #Tigray as part of the #TigrayGenocide.
A drone attack in Mekhoni, southern Tigray, leaves many dead and many more suffering. We ask the IC to protect civilians that are being indiscriminately targeted. It is outrageous that Iranian, Turkish, UAE and Chinese drones are being employed to wipe out a people in this age.
This is the never ending cycle of Tigray famine concealed from the world but taking lives each day.
Siege limiting UN’s ability from accessing all areas of Tigray where famine is already happening. Thus famine not declared. Because it isn’t declared, IC unwilling to act.
“Tigray is an African nation. We have contributed to the birth of African civilization and we have contributed to the vision of an Africa that is stable, secure + independent from external powers, whether they be Europe, America, the Middle East or Asia.”

With all due trepidation, and there it is, another public confession this time in the government’s own worlds that Tigrayans are enemies of the Ethiopian State and military, and that the Ethiopian army categorises the people of Tigray as an enemy and legitimate military target 1
I support @POTUS decision to end #Ethiopia’s eligibility for special trade benefits under the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act or AGOA. The law is clear, and Ethiopia failed to meet the human rights requirements. More progress is needed on humanitarian access & toward peace.

Millions of lives are on the line as conflict — and multiple crises — escalate in Ethiopia's Tigray region. Here's what you should know: https://t.co/Xxn78Ka7Q6
Today marks six months since the brutal murder of our colleagues Maria, Tedros and Yohannes, who were providing much-needed assistance to people in Tigray, Ethiopia.
Even with the passage of time, the pain caused by their loss is felt as deeply as it was six months ago.
@AsstSecStateAF Please also call on your ally UAE to stop selling drones & operating them in Ethiopia. Turkey should be pressured to stop the drone sale as well. Restore telecoms across Tigray to verify that all invading forces actually withdraw to their borders
A wave of Ethiopian airstrikes killed 18 civilians and wounded 11 in Mekelle, Maychew, and Korem. The silence of the vast majority allows tyrants like @AbiyAhmedAli to commit further atrocious war crimes. #StopDroneAttacks@EU_Commission @ABaerbock https://t.co/QM0LXs4v6b

The strike jeopardizes power access in the northern region, already scant following 13 months of conflict with the federal government.
Neither Legesse nor military spokesman Colonel Getnet Adane responded to requests for comment on the strike.
