@Ad_Crucem I requested to follow a day or two ago. I just had my name on there as my last name, because that’s how my Substack account was already set up.
@HansFiene At conferences and events I run into my childhood band directors frequently, and it’s really weird being expected to call them by their first names.
@B1GDuckEnergyy It makes me feel like a Hoosier must clearly be avian in nature. I’m not keyed into the Oregon/Iowa part of this bromance yet, but I’m also here for it.
Just wait until you guys get familiar with Badgers. You’ll get along great.
@MrMaxPrice I imagine especially for playoff events? We’re not allowed to accept the normal “get in free” passes our district offers for post-season events for any sport.
@SiliconConley Getting ready to get engaged. We talked about priorities in choosing a church the first time we live somewhere new. Gonna be an easy thing to be the head on.
@WmWeedon I really hope I get to experience the 1-year as a parishioner at some point. I’m moving from my home congregation, and liked CPH’s extra support for the 3-year when looking for choir music, though.
@TheDonStein My grandma reminded me tonight that Leo’s parish in Dalton was right across the street from the church she was baptized in and her parents were married in…
@RichardBicknase@becomelutheran Would you mind sharing to a non-pastor who might know a pastor interested who might not be willing to reach out himself?
@ImDanChapa Look at who is saying what. It’s the pastor describing the condition, not the congregation. The congregation saying “forgive us our sins” is — at least to me — not an explicit confession of sin.
(I’d rather not convince you, though, ultimately 😅)
