Here to help you choose the right products when it comes to keeping your teeth clean & healthy.
We offer lots of general dental health information also.
@Samwyzh There is nothing that is proven to be more effective/beneficial. You can potentially use mouthwash rather than water, but that is wasteful/expensive.
Some put a dash or 2 of mouthwash in the water to get some of that extra freshness whilst water flossing.
@BeatTheBead Hi, I sent a message via your contact form about sceptical microplastics but at first it returned an error so I'm not sure if it sent. Do you have an email address that I could send the enquiry to?
@WSK9002 The brush head should be replaced every 3 months. You should use the actual brush handle for as long as you can until it stops working. Typically they will last on average 5+ years. No need to replace if it still works. π
Whether you're using electric or manual, it's vital you use the right technique when brushing your teeth. See our how-to videos for a manual toothbrush: https://t.co/sKveFXCmiL, or an electric toothbrush: https://t.co/qVOu7aa808 #GreatBritishBrushathon#SmileMonth
Dental anxiety is very common and nothing to be embarrassed or scared about β itβs an actual condition and your dentist will understand. π

@malhal Thus, the 31,000 strokes aren't equal to the 62,000 movements on premium models. We are updating our content. But although very good, you don't get the ultimate Sonicare brushing experience. 2/2
@malhal Malcolm. Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you, but it has been a bit of a mission getting to the bottom of this. So yes, the 3100 Series does have 31,000 brush strokes. But, the motor has been configured differently, to most other premium models. 1/2
@SkylarkHolly We found it so confusing that we started a site to explain! The main features to go for are a pressure sensor timer and pacer, and you can get those for under Β£40. Our post here explains in more detail: https://t.co/GebzFX1K1X
@DrShariEllen@YoungTongues_@Oralieve_UK@Colgate In particular the PRO | CTx4 Gel 5000 1.1% is one that has been shared with us as being high fluoride, but please do double check that and non mint. We are trying to update our list all the time and will keep an eye out for more high fluoride non mint.
@DrShariEllen@YoungTongues_@Oralieve_UK@Colgate Thanks for mentioning us! We are aware of some specialist ones from Carifree that have high fluoride concentration and are non mint, but you would have to go through your dentist to get them: https://t.co/HlJAcCWHMz
@_FordMaxwell_ Sorry we haven't tested the F1 & Air 2 as yet to compare. I suspect louder than the Elite, but still 'quieter' than most sonic toothbrushes & Oral-B models.
