Love this from RNIB. Everyone should have the dignity of independence, especially when it's not difficult for brands to provide this (e.g. QR codes, another RNIB initiative). So much more work to do
It's Global Accessibility Awareness Day! #GAAD
Our Twitter will be taken over for the next couple of hours by BIMA's Inclusive Design Council, who will be sharing some of their insight as well as tips you can apply to your business.
Today is #GAAD and fittingly, something I wrote on the unexpected benefits of Inclusive Design (beyond its rightfully core purpose in creating equal experiences) has been published today, pg 106 #InclusiveDesign#accessibility
We are recruiting Heads of Profession to help me and @avfletcher as we lead the user-centred design team at NHS Test & Trace and develop the profession at UK Health Security Agency:

@BeMyEyes@AccessiblePharm Are used this the other day as part of a trial to make the home testing kits more accessible and was very impressed. It was so helpful!
That is absolutely amazing!!! I'm willing to bet a lot of those sales were from disabled players finally being able to play a AAA game!!
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to @Naughty_Dog and all my friends there. You made something special! This is rightfully deserved!!!!
Very cool new IOS #A11y feature (& yet another example of how thinking differently / inclusive design can be a catalyst for innovation that benefits everyone!)
iOS 14 has a new Back Tap feature in Accessibility and it's wild. You can perform quick actions by double- or triple-tapping the *back of your iPhone*. Literally quick taps on the back; works with a case on.
These include system actions as well as custom shortcuts.

Thanks @BIMA, @hminto and @_emmagoddard. Another brilliant insight into accessibility, @Microsoft products, and how we can inspire the importance of the topic with both clients and colleagues. Thank you. #A11y
I've been reluctant to post this.
I recorded my reaction when I saw the #accessibility settings in #TheLastofUsPartII for the first time thinking it would be a fun video for posterity. I...did not expect this.
This is why we do what we do. ๐ข
