Off to a winning start 💚
Prior to this year's Wimbledon qualifying, Tyra Caterina Grant had never played a competitive match on grass. She could get used to this!

Serena Williams walks off of Centre Court at Wimbledon with a smile on her face.
She did not get the win in her first singles match back at Wimbledon.
But wow, it was fun to watch her play again… and she can still hit some INCREDIBLE shots.
Just to watch her step on court today meant so much to every tennis fan, to every tennis player, and to so many people beyond this sport.
Having the courage to come back to competition at 44 years of age after 4 years away from the sport and after having two kids… that takes a legendary passion and serious guts.
She doesn’t have a thing to prove to anybody.
A 23-time Grand Slam Champion who stepped on court today, not to break any records or solely to win, but instead… simply for the love of it… so her two daughters could watch her play… and for her own personal happiness.
Forever the greatest, win or lose.

Mirra Andreeva after beating Linette at Wimbledon
“Serena Williams has mentioned that you’re one of three players currently that she admires enormously. When you hear that, what does it make you think?”
Mirra: “It feels great. Those words coming from the 23-time Grand Slam Champion… that maybe means something 😂. It’s nice to hear from such an amazing player and amazing competitor. I was maybe also considering to play doubles with her in Queens. But after playing good in Paris we decided not to play Queens as well. Even if she says that nice stuff, I wouldn’t really wanna play against her 😂. I’m just super happy I don’t play against her. Maybe I can practice with her one day. But so far I’m just happy with what she said about me.” ❤️
