We can’t keep normalizing this. Flooding for days after the rain stops should NOT be part of everyday life. If only the government hadn’t pocketed the money meant for flood control.

Imagine seeing clear skies and sunshine outside, only to look down and realize the floodwater is STILL rising. Twelve days of this is mentally exhausting😤😮‍💨

Sorry for the rant. I think being stuck at home for 12 days because of the flooding is just incredibly mentally and emotionally draining. It’s exhausting to feel trapped in your own home for this long, especially when there’s no clear end in sight. 😤

Floodwater everywhere, people struggling to get to work, businesses affected, homes damaged/flooded yet the people responsible for this mess are probably sleeping comfortably somewhere dry 😡
