The logical corollary of what he is saying is that:
1. John the Baptist either did not have the Holy Spirit or ignored the Holy Spirit’s leading. Both conclusions are untenable.
2. John died before his appointed time and would have lived longer had he possessed, or listened to, the Holy Spirit.
This reasoning is flawed on multiple levels.
First, look at Jesus Himself. Throughout His ministry He escaped death on several occasions because His hour had not yet come. But when His appointed hour arrived, He willingly submitted to death despite possessing the power to avoid it.
Following this logic, Jesus should have been “wiser.” He should have denied His Messiahship before Pilate or remained silent before the Sanhedrin to preserve His life. But He did neither, because His mission, not self-preservation, governed His actions.
Second, the argument assumes that John had unfinished business in this life, as though he could have extended his ministry by another five, ten, or twenty years. But to what end? John’s divinely appointed mission was to prepare the way for the Messiah. Christianity teaches that faithfulness to God’s calling, not the length of one’s life, is the measure of a life well lived. John fulfilled his mission.
Third, Jesus Himself declared that among those born of women there had arisen no one greater than John the Baptist (Matthew 11:11). If Christ bestowed such an extraordinary commendation upon him, is it really plausible to conclude that John’s execution happened because he lacked wisdom or failed to listen to the Spirit?
Scripture repeatedly shows that God is fully capable of preserving His servants when He chooses. He prevented Abimelech from touching Sarah. He repeatedly protected Moses before Pharaoh despite Moses confronting the most powerful ruler on earth. God certainly had the power to prevent Herod from laying a hand on John had that been His purpose.
John was not spared because his ministry was complete. His death was not evidence of spiritual failure but of God’s sovereign purposes unfolding according to His perfect timing.
The New Testament consistently measures faithfulness by obedience, not longevity.

"That means you signed Cynthia Morgan with an unregistered company in 2013 because Northside Music was registered in 2015... The aggregators were paying into Northside Entertainment, Paul and Jude were sharing it. E no go better for two of una..."
Peter a.k.a Mr P. of the defunct PSquare continues to call out his brothers, Jude Okoye and Rudeboy Paul.
Something just happened. The newspaper vendor that supplies the dailies to my neighbour walked up to me and said he had been looking to see me but I was unavailable. In my head, I was wondering "why me?"
He said he needed the balance of his son's fees in Yabatech. I asked him how much it was and gave him double so he could use the balance to take care of himself. He was just praying for me in Yoruba.
This is the pressure men are going through. Outsiders are not going to ask "what about his mother" or "what about your wife." You as the man is just expected to stand up to the responsibility. If you're my friend, I will ask because I don't even hide my stance of joint responsibility.
Anyway, the point I'm driving home is, if all the educational opportunities, scholarship, STEM support are going to the girl child, what is the fate of the boys? In extension, how are we neglecting boys and still expect them to carry the responsibilities as "man of the house?" Interestingly, the successful women still want a more successful man in a world where women are becoming more educated and successful.
This will tip the balance of society. More men are increasingly unmarried. More women are increasingly unmarried. More men are increasingly unable to meet their financial responsibility where more women have occupied the work force and even more if them are unwilling to share the financial responsibilities.
This is not a for or against post. I just want to see how society functions in 50 years time. Anyway, women said staying at home is harder than going to work. So maybe the men are choosing the "harder" job of staying at home. Interesting days lie ahead 🤷♂️
Cynthia Morgan please sue Jude for Signing you with an Unregistered company first!

Taller one is Peter.
The more handsome one is Peter.
The one with dreads is Paul.
In any picture, the one that looks more physically fit is Peter.

I don't usually ask for help publicly, but today I have no choice.
I'm trying to raise funds for a Total Hip Replacement surgery that will give me a chance to live without constant pain.
This is my story.
When I was 9 years old, I was involved in an accident that left me with a pelvic fracture. I was admitted to the hospital and underwent treatment. Eventually, I was discharged, and for a while, life seemed normal again. About two years later, I started limping; something wasn't right. We thought to seek help at another hospital, hoping to find answers. Unfortunately, I was placed on the wrong treatment. It nearly cost me my leg but left me with one leg shorter than the other.
Eventually, I was referred to an orthopaedic hospital and after proper evaluation, doctors discovered that the ball of my hip had come completely out of the pelvic socket.
I underwent surgery called in-situ pinning to put it back in place. Some time later, I had another surgery to remove the screw.
Even after those surgeries, I never completely stopped feeling pain. I simply learned to live with it. I adjusted my life around the discomfort because I thought that was just how things would always be.
But over the years, the pain became worse; what I could once ignore has now become unbearable.
Walking, standing for long periods, climbing stairs, sleeping comfortably, and even carrying out everyday tasks have become incredibly difficult.
I recently went for another evaluation and had an X-ray done. The result was heartbreaking. The hip joint has deteriorated badly, and the doctors have recommended a Total Hip Replacement as the best and most lasting solution.
The cost of the surgery, implants, and hospital care is ₦3,369,498.99 million.
By God's grace and through the kindness of family and a few generous people, I've been able to raise ₦1.6 million and I'm deeply grateful.
However, I still need approximately ₦1.6 million to make this surgery possible. This isn't just about relieving pain, it's about getting my life back. It's about being able to walk with dignity, work, and live without every step reminding me of this injury.
If you're able to support me financially, no matter how small the amount, it will bring me one step closer to this surgery.
If you can't, please help me by reposting this thread. It could reach someone who can help.
Every share matters.
I will attach my medical bill and X-ray to this thread as transparency is very important to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for your prayers, your kindness, your support, and every repost. I truly believe that with your help, I'll be able to have this surgery and finally begin living free from this pain.

So according to Peter, EFCC found 100s of thousands of dollars in Jude Ekpelima’s North side Music account and told him to account for it. He said the money came from his Artist, the same Cynthia Morgan that Jude told VDM that the only money he made from her music is just 3k dollars. Omooo!
