@GMCSouthLondon @PeteFiutak Yea, the offense actually has the more stringent false start rule. Defense can move freely on their side of the line. The offense has to more or less stay perfectly still unless they’re in the backfield and even then (there are caveats like motioning but that’s called by the QB).

@GMCSouthLondon @PeteFiutak Different rule. Offside in American football applies to the defense and it means a defender jumped over the line of scrimmage early. Funny enough, the play is allowed to go on and if the offense gets positive yards they can “decline” the penalty and keep the yards.

@KGrahamContent Per the rules: diving outside the box earns you a yellow, while diving inside the box earns you a red. They’re trying new methods to enforce it this tournament so fingers crossed.
