“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Why are some people so triggered that I support both Angels and Padres 😂 it’s really not that deep. Baseball is just baseball at the end of the day lol
Today marks the final time the OAKLAND A’s will run out onto a baseball diamond.
To say this process has been difficult for anyone is an understatement.
But one thing that has been evidently clear during this entire saga is that it was never us but always you.
The FANS DESERVED BETTER! #FJF
I LOVE seeing all the anti-John Fisher content on my timeline from ALL 30 fanbases and both local and national media.
My message to you all is KEEP IT UP! Don’t drop the subject once the season ends. Keep speaking out against the injustices! Vegas is very far from a sure thing and the Sacramento plan is equally problematic.
If the media and fans keep ripping John Fisher to this extent, eventually MLB will HAVE to do something. The other owners don’t want to take this kind of damage to MLB for an extended period on a national scale.
Keep fighting and don’t let up!!!
The final day in the existence of the Oakland A’s.
An absolutely avoidable sports tragedy that will be talked about for the next century and beyond.
Oakland fans deserve better.

Could write a book about how much Oakland and the A's mean to me. But I really just want to thank all of you, all because of this team I have many friendships I cherish.
Thank you Oakland for the absolutely incredible memories. I'll never forget them. 💚💛
It’s been a long emotional day. But I’ll leave you with this. There’s a reason they always chanted “Let’s Go Oakland!” at A’s games. It has always been about the people and it always will be. See you at the @oaklandrootssc and @OaklandBallers games. 🖤
Personally, I ranked Oakland Coliseum as a top five MLB park. I'm serious. I used to love going to games there.
I know it was terrible and rundown. But I had a great feeling every time I walked through those turnstiles. All these teams have built throwback stadiums. But the Coliseum was the one place that actually felt like baseball games when I was a kid: RFK or Memorial Stadium from the 1970s and 1980s.
I hated watching scenes from today's game. I'll miss that dump. I'll miss baseball in Oakland.
This is really happening. Oakland A’s baseball at the Oakland Coliseum is over.
Mark Kotsay, who has had to repeatedly had to answer for an absent ownership group, says it best: LET’S GO OAKLAND.
Forever.

If you grew up here, you know. There’s just something about the magical feeling you get looking out onto that playing surface. Words can’t express how much I’m going to miss this.
