it’s actually so unfair that so many people’s lives have been cut short or ruined because of tinubu’s incompetence….we don’t deserve this, it hurts ngl.
I washed alot of clothes this morning with hopes that they would all get dry before evening. All of a sudden, it began to rain seriously and I wasn't even able to pack any inside.
Then I became very angry and started complaining in my room for minutes, only for me to remember the abducted Oyo state Children and Teachers.
A thought then came to my mind, which is "even tho it rains from now till midnight, you can still spread those clothes tomorrow and they will get dry one day, but what about the people that have been in the bush for over a month, under the rain and hot sun, with no hope of ever going back home"
I just became weak 😞
It's been over a month that these children and teachers were abducted at school. It's really sad because it feels like we've all moved on in this country. It's no longer on the headlines, nothing is going on or being said about it anymore.
I think about those children alot and I'm sacred not all of them might make it (especially the little ones)
How will they be like now?
How have they even been surviving?
Do they even wash their clothes or had the opportunity to even eat good foods for over 30 days?
Those children and their teachers have been with the kidnappers for a month.
Our president is not saying anything but everyday, I see brand new buses and cars with his face and "renewed hope" plastered on them.
IT IS NOT WELL IN NIGERIA!
I know there are bills to pay, jobs to do, meetings to attend, weddings to celebrate, and plans to make. I know governments are working, families are carrying on, and the world refuses to stop moving. But can we please not stop talking about this?
We still have missing children.
Can we keep saying their names, and demanding answers? Because every day that passes without them is another day a family wakes up with an empty seat at the table and a wound that refuses to heal.
We still have missing children.
I believe this is too extreme, but how does an arms courier receive the death penalty, while terrorists who massacre innocent people daily are rehabilitated and reintegrated into society?
Make it make sense.
The Baba Ijesha you people keep making excuses for and saying should be allowed to “move on with his life” has never admitted to any wrongdoing. To this day, he’s still claiming he was “set up” and trying to justify the actions he was caught on camera committing
All of you defending and making excuses for him will never know peace. Amen.
Dear TL.
I am desperately trying to replace a series of books I lost when I moved from Abuja to Lagos about a decade ago.
The Circle Series, by Ted Dekker.
There are four books in the series;
Black, Red, White and Green.
Please if you know how I can get physical copies of these books, I would be grateful.
I believe in you guys.
Thank you.
To all the women under that academic thread.
One sentence for you all- Loke Loke Lola Kunfayakun.
You all will not fall or stumble and it will keep getting better for you.
I’m super duper inspired ❤️
