“The curse of discipline is that every day looks the same as the one before. The curse of no discipline is that every year looks the same as the one before.”

Quick tip to know if someone's unemployed, undiagnosed, immature, and delulu daughter is on a rishta hunt:
Her father will set all the mutual connections on fire, fill every possible ear, and launch a full fledged campaign to get you convinced that YOU DESPERATELY need to get married and that too RIGHT NOW!—as if it's some sort of medical emergency
The hard to answer questions are:
• Do you really need someone just because every random person starts telling you so?
• Especially after struggling all alone through your hardest times to finally become stable and free?
• Where were they during your periods of trials? Watching silently and secretly praying for your downfall?
• Or it's just that they are frustrated?
The simple answer is:
"Your peace before them" and "Their desperation after you" explains it all
In Pakistan, a medical degree alone is not enough to survive this profession anymore. A doctor now needs emotional strength, financial security, influential contacts, legal support, and sometimes even the ability to protect themselves physically because along with treating patients, they are constantly battling pressure, insecurity, violence, and public criticism.
After this tragic incident of acid attack, the accused was reportedly killed, perhaps to bury the truth forever. Even if he is dead, such brutality deserves public condemnation before burial. No human being could commit such an act. Anyone who throws acid on a lady doctor is not a human but a monster.
The hatred for doctors in this country was planned cunningly , and it was implemented successfully because our own seniors didn’t support young docs , I really hope our seniors pay a price for it as our health care system crumbles because of doctors being exploited
But in healthcare, governments and policymakers almost always avoid owning their shortcomings. Patients cannot reasonably be blamed (empathy, ethics). In the end, all the blame falls on doctors. And that is deeply unfair. Doctors deserve respect as much as any other person !
Health and education are both very very basic things but the burden of blame is handled very differently. In education ( and many other fields), responsibility is shared among students, teachers and the system. So, failures get divided.
