This October, I decided not to draw EVERY day, so I wanted to come up with a theme to tie all my octopuses together. I’m drawing 12 octopuses - one for each month’s birthstone! A touch of “rocktober," if you will.

Starting from the top of the calendar is January, with Garnet!

I'm not much of a sports guy so the first thing that came to mind for this prompt was... the fish! I love all kinds of rays, they're beautiful and their silly little underside faces are so cute. The background features mermaid's purses.
