@JohnMiddlekauff Are you being serious or is this a rhetorical question? I can think of 3 reasons off the top of my head. It’s like if Georgia calls some CFB coach, he might not go but you don’t deny the call
@DJohnsonRadio My first in person game was OU/KU when they were 1 and 2 and Buddy and Frank were going at it. Bill got a T early on and the place was electric, that is by far my favorite
@MinkahBurgh39 I keep thinking it’s Shula but the longer it goes (I know they’ll him and Nate interview sometime next week) I have a feeling they’re gunna go Nate. Dulac’s report wasn’t nothing
@Steelers_DB Where do you think 7-10, 8-9 lands us? Know we took Ben at 11 and seems like there aren’t as many QB needy teams so maybe a chance to move up and get one?
This was my exact thought. Short week, on the road, with an old defense just isn’t a good recipe for them to play well. Honestly more encouraged last night than disappointed. #HereWeGo
I know people don't wanna talk positives right now...but the Steelers scoring 31 points while having the ball for only about 25 minutes in this game (about 10 mins less than CIN) is pretty darn impressive (even if it was vs. the Bengals).
The controlled the line of scrimmage again this week, moved the ball efficiently, Warren was unbelievable, Rodgers was slinging it & making big plays out of structure all night, Freiermuth was terrific, and even Roman Wilson looked very nice tonight as well now that they finally gave him more opportunities.
This offense has now stacked 3 really good weeks in a row now & have hit their stride and have a clear identity as a unit.
I also don't think the Steelers defense is going to play this poorly on a regular basis, especially once this group plays with each other more & more as the season goes on.
Tonight's loss stings, but I still think this team is set up to be pretty darn good when it matters most in January, and even in the short term I think they will be WAY more competitive vs. GB, IND & LAC over the next 3 weeks than most fans probably think coming out of this one.

Reformed men,
Yesterday was a good reminder that there are tons of solid believers who are not Reformed, doing much good for the Lord and advancing the Kingdom.
Yes, they may practice a different mode of baptism. Have differing eschatology. Not confessional. Non cessationist. Non Calvinist. Etc...
I've been in the "Reformed echo chamber" for over 15 years, and yesterday was a good reminder that the Lord does marvelous works in all different kinds of HIS sheep!

Whenever you’re discouraged, remember that millions of people around the world today heard these words at Charlie’s memorial:
“He’s the King of glory, He’s the Prince of Peace, He’s the Savior of the world, He’s the living God, He’s the God of all mercy and grace, the total embodiment of love, the total embodiment of truth. And He’s here today to call His children back to Him.” Rob McCoy
“Charlie, right now, is in heaven. Not because he was a great husband & father…. Not because he sacrificed himself for his Savior. Charlie Kirk is in heaven, because his Savior sacrificed himself for Charlie Kirk” Frank Turek
“Christ has overcome death!” Andrew Kolvet
“What we’ve known for 2,000 years is that any attempt at trying to extinguish the light makes it shine more brightly.” Tucker Carlson
“We were all created by the hands of the God of the universe, who loved us created us to live with Him in eternity. But then sin entered the world and separated us from our Creator. So God took on the form of a man and came down and lived among us, and He suffered like men, and He died like a man. But on the third day He rose unlike any mortal man… And when He returns, there will be a new Heaven and a new earth, and we are going to have a great reunion there again with Charlie” Sec. Marco Rubio
“Put Christ at the center of your life.” Pete Hegseth
“I have talked more about Jesus in the past two weeks [since Charlie died] than I have in my entire public life.” JD Vance
“On the cross, our Savior said: ‘Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.’ That young man [who murdered Charlie]: I forgive him.” Erika Kirk
Praise God!
