@KobieThatcher Only people that are here for 12/16 months on temporary visas etc are classified as a migrant (due to ABS rules) & they are not included in NOM figures. There are exclusions written into the rules so when he talks about raw numbers, he's probably including them causing confusion

@KobieThatcher I think he was discussing raw numbers and potentially included seasonal workers that aren't actually accounted for in NOM due to the ABS rules. They are excluded from the numbers if they stay less than 12 months in a 16 month period.

@QBCCIntegrity The citizenship push is likely for votes, welfare is what they think buys those votes. Labor is losing the majority of voters rapidly as more and more Australians wake up. Now they need to boost numbers of potential voters in an effort to increase their chances of holding power.
