Someone needs to do a study about how continuous negative news cycles affect mental health. There is never anything encouraging on the news worth watching. It's always death , sexual abuse, destruction , corruption and tribal political rhetoric spewed by politicians at funerals.

We are continuously sold an illusion that we can all get rich. This isn't true. Capitalism requires your cheap labour to generate wealth and concentrate it with a few at the top. They show you a lifestyle to aspire to and that keeps you working in a system rigged against you.
