@MattWagnerComic@screenrant Oh yes please! Please DC, do a Wesley Dodds Sandman. I have always enjoyed the original JSA and grabbed the whole Sandman Mystery Theatre and Sandman Midnight Theatre when they came out. Detective mystery noir with some horror thrown in for good measure,
@SeeParapet@PeterDGardner "Essential" you say? Certainly for aircraft and international shipping (for now). Personal transport, trucking, trains, coastal shipping? No.
And by ‘facts’, you mean TikTok memes, X rage posts and ten-year-old Facebook stories?
That’s okay. Please don’t buy an EV. No one will force you. Though you might find fewer and fewer options for buying ICE vehicles in the future. Servo numbers will diminish and then disappear from some areas. Re-selling an ICE vehicle that’s harder and harder to find parts for and for which insurance costs keep going up, will drop through the floor.
There will always be examples of ICE vehicles. I can still go out and see steam tractors after all. Hey, maybe you could sell tickets to see yours!
Half of all new car sales in Oz, now EVs.
Put down the glasses.
Game over.
Netflix is going to beat Blockbuster out of existence.

@Taths3022@ryanjaycowan@CARN0N Now if only I could have FSD on my 7 year old OG Model 3 on which I paid for FSD fully and have yet to receive anything. They promised hardware upgrade if it was required to make it work.
Tyre replacement is more a function of how you drive than most anything else. If you drive it like you stole it then you'll burn through tyres. The weight difference between ICE and EV isn't that much.
After 7 years of ownership I'm actually getting a service done on my Model 3. The 12V battery needs to be swapped out, and as it's approaching end of warranty on the main battery I figured one last check, swap out 12V battery, wipers, filters, and tyre rotate is a good idea.
It honestly feels like cheating, the lack of maintenance you need to do on these cars. I had owned many ICE vehicles before this car and the maintenance felt never ending.
Australia’s renewable energy boom — proudly brought to you by those notorious woke warriors… the mining industry 😂 Fortescue and Rio Tinto are building solar farms faster than the outraged deniers can yell ‘unreliable.’

@sydney_ev@matt_barrie Also, don't forget, they are happy to add excise and extract as much money as they can from beer drinkers and local industries... but overseas multinationals can just have our gas for free. Australia needs the cash, but only from local wallets.
