We thank active citizens like @HrhMaNtshingila who invited us for sit inregards with #Spazashopfund R500M, #NEF have outlined that they were only Allocated R100M from the R500M of which they had over 5000 Applicants and each Applicant received R100 000 which they disclosed on how it was distributed. In our hands as a movement we have a list of all the 1000 beneficiaries which we will scrutinize and do oversight in terms of fronting etc. Tax payers money will be accountant for.

Another weird judgment from the Western Cape High Court, week after week!!

The laws of the country make it clear how a person can be a South African Citizen but this judgement seems to claim those are unconstitutional… basically demanding that even a person with a passport can come and register their child as a South African??

We have written to the Home Affaira Department to request to join as friends of the court!! Our own South Africans don’t have an identity because of foreigners clogging the system… We can’t allow such judgements to keep compromising the rights of South Africans just to accomodate foreigners! How can a passport qualify someone to have a South African Citizenship? I’ve got a clear idea how the Chidima story will end in that Western Cape High Court!!

Our meeting with the National Empowerment Fund has resulted in important developments regarding the R500 million Spaza Shop Support Fund. The fight for transparency continues. Please read the latest update in the Updates section of the petition. Also Stella’s team only gave Park Tau team R100 million spaza shop funds and they said we should give them 13 days and they’ll realise the list of the beneficiaries.
