What is the quickest way to replace all instances (in many pages) of a local component with the instances of a different component in a published library? My current very manual way was to do it page by page. Any ideas? @disco_lu @_figman

@okonetchnikov Thank you for answering! I’ve been asking around and it seems like there is little out there to help.
In my case, I believe the project is simple enough to be solvable by inspect tool and “brute craft”, but that would be a waste of my time at the moment.

@okonetchnikov Suspecting the answer is no, but asking anyway. Having built the pipeline yourself, can you think of any “code to design” workflow that enables designers to document production components on Figma?

As an aside. I also realized that I didn’t want to solve the outline at list level, because I wanted the outline of my items to change color when selected/active.

@disco_lu I am just starting to adopt the new amazing releases Figma announced, also inspired by your approach in refactoring components.
How would you produce the component set of outlined list items, that have a corner radius applied when first and last children of the list?

@disco_lu It would be something beautiful, in my opinion, to be able to componentise a list that contains only instances of the same item, while being able to add and remove items without needing to detach the list.

For some reason I never quite liked the separator component, because it makes it more difficult to rearrange naturally the items within the full list.

I would like to be able to select the same children, given a multiple selection of parent objects.
Similarly, I would like to be able to use the tab key to cycle through sibling selection within multiple objects.
