Faith and forgiveness

The two major hindrances to receiving from God in prayer are unbelief and unforgiveness. Jesus made that abundantly clear in his teaching in Mark 11:24-25

He said when you pray, believe you receive, and he also said when you stand praying, forgive.

Faith and forgiveness are the twins for results.

Apostle James said a man who waivers in his faith shouldn't think he shall receive anything from the Lord.

James 1:6-8
"6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways"

When he stands praying, he should consider those whom he perceives to have offended him and ask God for a blessing of equal benefit upon them like that which he is asking God for himself.

Mark 11:25

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

The application of faith and forgiveness will bring the required breakthrough.
