@harleyf@eastdakota@tobi So basically you actually took the challenge of "if you're so good, fix it yourself" seriously, fixed it, and got paid for it too? Wild!
@MilesMogul MasterCard World or World Elite. ICICI EPM works. Gets you upgraded directly to the top-1 tier on MBS Sands Lifestyle membership.
Used it on April to get free access for wife & myself to the observatory deck.

@shobhitic He's from IT services background. 7.2 for 4 years is a big deal there & paying 16 for 4 years exp is almost unheard of. He's also out of touch with the market realities having worked in that services echo chamber for a couple of decades.
@PranavDate@narayananh Doesn't Singapore anyways have e gates that work with regular passports? Our regular passports worked fine with their e gates when I traveled in Dec 2025 & Apr 2026.
@vig39@claudeai It's actually better than before though that's surprising. The analysis uses Haiku 4.5, which is verified by Sonnet 4.6 & then was being validated by Opus 4.7 and now Opus 4.8. I think the validation step uses a better model now.
Just ran a fairly heavy @claudeai Cowork task that analyzes ~300 support conversations + 50-100 Linear tickets via Intercom and Linear MCPs, builds an HTML report, & emails it.
Previously it used to take ~50% of my 5h usage & >10% of weekly usage (5x max). It's 12% & 5% now.
It looks like Claude's limit-related issues are healing.
@vig39@claudeai It's for work, so I don't have any alternates to reference/compare against. Claude & Gemini models are the ones I have access to 😅
I'll try running it through Gemini some time in the coming days to compare.
@adipatil@Rinaldorex Don't feel bad. My toddler has the same question every week, and both of us make it about the money too.
We keep repeating that we work so we can afford to pay for our food, his education, his toys, the beach vacations, etc.
No lol it's because the off market BT remotes lacked some basic functionality like brightness & contrast adjustment etc at least for my Thomson TV. I ended up having to go back to them, tell new lies that there's physical damage on remote & asked for spares. That's when they sent out without a technician visit because I lied about it being physical damage by us.
@skh27 Not surprised. I had a very experience years ago with SPPL for a Thomson TV, another Hisense product like Toshiba. It's all outsourced manufacturing & support.
