The hardest breath you’ll ever take is one you won’t remember..
A Newborn’s first breath is one of the hardest physiological tasks humans ever perform, requires extraordinary inspiratory effort to inflate lungs that have never held air before, replacing fluid with oxygen & Life..
NEET was introduced with three principal promises: (1) reduce the burden, (2) eliminate commercialisation, and (3) improve standards.
On every one of these counts, #NEET has failed. It has merely shifted the centre of learning from schools to coaching centres.
The problem with NEET has always been structural, not merely procedural. Recent events have vindicated that concern.
The ongoing student protests must serve as a wake-up call for the Union Government. It's time to trust the states. It's time to abolish NEET.

1920 – Sir P. Thiyagaraysr introduced the first school meal programme in the Madras Corporation only during justice party tenure.
1956 – Kamarajar expanded the noon meal scheme across the state.
1982 – MGR launched the Nutritious Noon Meal Scheme.
1989 onwards – Kalaignar strengthened the programme with nutritional enhancements, including eggs and other improvements over time.
2022 – MKS launched the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme for government school students.
Their intention is to erase MKS name in the history, alava muttu kodunga 👍
DMK was the 1st party to sense the dangers of NEET & opposed strongly when implemented..
Many Years After, the Country realised
How NEET is Cruel...

Vijay rightly blasted DMK for misusing TNHRCE funds. Aana ippo avaru? He's using TNMSC meant for life-saving drugs to procure 1g gold for his 'Thaimaaman' scheme! TNMSC's job is to procure essential medicines, not act as a jewelry supplier. Bleeding ₹755Cr of health funds for PR

The latest Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) data shows TN’s superior educational performance for the academic year 2025-26. The report records Gross Enrolment Ratios of 92% at the primary stage, 95% at upper primary, 97% at secondary and 85% at higher secondary, compared with national averages of 89, 90, 82 and 62 per cent, respectively.
Tamil Nadu has recorded zero dropout at both the primary and upper primary levels, while the secondary dropout rate is only 6.2 per cent, substantially lower than the national average of 9.5 per cent. We saw teachers personally visiting to identify & admit dropping out students to achieve this feat.
The report also highlights an important feature of Tamil Nadu's education model—students have multiple opportunities to continue their education after Class X.
TN educates 5% of the country's school-going children while accounting for only 3.9% of the country's schools.

I watched the whole inspection video of மாண்புமிகு அமைச்சர் Keerthana
there is more in that video.
the students were reading the passage from the book. Minister stopped it and said these students are just doing மனப்படாம் and didn’t know the meaning of it.
went ahead and asked the kids “what is the meaning of TENDERNESS”
students answered it.
went on and asked “our love is everlasting-னா என்னது?”
the girl from the 1st bench stood up and answered the question.
minister just nod the head and went on to ask “everlasting மட்டும்”
the girl brilliantly answered for this one too.
minister just nod her head and looking at the last benches. some other girl from the last bench answered as well.
NOT EVEN A SINGLE APPRECIATION GIVEN by the minister. No claps. No encouraging words.
shifting goal post maathiri went ahead and asked about spoken English and what is your dad question.
sigh!
what is their actual intention? they answered her question but got a name that they didn’t even understand a simple question.
Just look at the eyes of that child. ஒரு சிறிய பாராட்டு would have boosted the moral of those kids and the image of the minister.
the kid would’ve remembered the whole incident as “got claps from minister” memory. but reality 💔🥺
@Keerthana4VNR If your point is that government schools are failing at teaching English, hold the system accountable.
Don't drag a child into the spotlight, make them speak on camera, and then mock their pronunciation.
Children are not political props.
You have no right to embarrass that child. Have some empathy.
Beyond party politics, love this point being made here. Making Abdul Kalam a President does not mean secularism, making Draupadi Murmu a President does not mean social justice. Your political view, political fight against discrimination is more important than giving tokenism of power sharing. Same logic applies for TVK.
It is high time this topic is being discussed
Sexual Orientation is the cause of many of the assaults / murders violence among youth . .
While other reasons are being explicitly mentioned or discussed, this is being swept under the carpet
Even the Occasional "Good Touch Bad Touch Classes" spend more time on Girl Children and this area is left without attention
It is time to have a open discussion and perhaps include this in curriculum / school health etc
What are you suggestions
I don’t know who this person is, but he is talking the common man’s mind.
All the TVK supporters are trying to normalise anything and everything.
Anything happened during DMK rule it was a mistake, same incident happening during TVK it’s not a matter at all.
Because science met unyielding political execution, the results were historic. While the rest of India battled wild poliovirus well into the next decade, Tamil Nadu recorded its final indigenous wild polio case in 2004, achieving elimination seven years ahead of the nation.
