I trust that our Malaysian leaders who are very vocal about Palestine and its independence would be as vocal about the ongoing plight of the Rohingya refugees and asylum seekers, a situation much closer to home.
The problem with power is that it results in the sacrifice of moral values and principles to fuel the obsession of keeping it.
Watch them justify it effortlessly.
The bigger issue is that we undoubtedly live in a time where we are not allowed to criticise our royalty. Until that changes, Malaysia will never be a mature democracy.

However you dress it up, this was a cabinet to consolidate power. No more, no less. It was said that positions should not be given as a form of reward, but a week later rewards are rampant. Such a shame as better choices could have been made. Underwhelmed.
