@rearay_ Wonderful! I’m happy yours is legit, but most of what I’ve heard (until today) has been horror stories from pros w/ unlimited time off.
I’m so glad employers are ACTUALLY offering unlimited time off without manipulating their employees!

Is an unlimited time off from work policy just a scam?
How do you know if an employer actually lets people take unlimited time off?
Has anyone experienced unlimited time off that isn’t smoke & mirrors?
I’ve worked with several job search clients that have interviewed with employers flaunting unlimited time off policy, but once the person becomes an employee - they are shamed into NOT taking any time off.
Employers / leaders should stop lying to good candidates.
This low unemployment rate indicates that many people approaching retirement age have continued working to grow their retirement savings back up.
It’s not a good thing when paired with asset losses and layoffs that so many are experiencing.
But our leaders say “unemployment is the lowest it’s been in half a century…”
Exactly.
People that were approaching retirement age were pushed back into the workforce.
Reminder: the unemployment rate doesn’t tell enough of the full story. It’s just a vanity metric.
Declining asset values from January to October 2022 may have prompted an extra 170,000 people between the ages of 51 and 65 to return to the labor force, per the Federal Reserve.
Make it make sense for me.

The unemployment rate is a vanity metric for out-of-touch capitalists.
What about under-employed?
What about attrition?
What about small business?
What about part-timers?
What about 1099 contractors?
New workforce vs retirees?
Inflation vs pay growth?
Publicly traded or not - corporate layoffs have displayed that many business leaders are incompetent.
They can’t budget well, & they can’t lead people.
The only way they’re able to be profitable is by laying off workers.
Stop treating workers like commodities.
Most church leaders manipulate and gaslight their people into submission.
We need more action and compassion for individuals… without the churchy propaganda.
