🚨 CLIENT PSA / BEWARE 🚨

I’m a beginner Live2D creator from Taiwan. This was our team's first major commission, but it ended in non-payment and cancellation. Sharing our experience to protect fellow artists.
🔽 Detailed Timeline:

Apr 22: Accepted commission. Client promised during a call they would pay the milestone deposit around that time.

May 3: We reached out to show progress; client explicitly chose not to look.

May 17: Work (art separation & facial rigging) was fully done.

May 18: We asked to confirm payment before showing the finished work. Client delayed, making excuses.

May 26: We followed up, but the client completely GHOSTED us.

May 28: Client finally replied but kept moving goalposts, eventually saying "JUST CANCEL IT."

🛑 Status: Canceled. Luckily, NO FILES OR PREVIEWS were leaked. All assets remain 100% ours.
Out of respect for the client's privacy and because we cannot 100% verify their personal situation, we will NOT be publicly posting their chat logs, screenshots, or social media handles. > However, if you are a fellow artist or rigger and want to cross-check your current clients to avoid potential risks, please feel free to send me a DM. I will gladly share the handles and proof privately to protect you.
