@TuckerCarlson : did you see that your
Russia sent a missile into the Orthodox cathedral in Odesa, Ukraine? Who is oppressing free people here? Will you stand for religious freedom?
JAMALA: ‘MUSIC IS A CURE’—War Day 463: Interview with @JamalaBird , a Ukrainian Crimean with Beloved Eurovision Hit
from Thursday 1 June: my Ukraine report on Chicago's @wgnradio with Bob Sirott—delivered every single weekday since Russia's full-scale invasion
As Russians send missiles to Kharkiv, I share the first part of my interview with Ukrainian musician Jamala, who is touring North America. She speaks of her Crimean homeland, how the Russians tried to censor her in Eurovision, and how music is a cure for the Ukrainian people. She'll play Chicago's Chop Shop Saturday 3 June. Proceeds to support Ukraine's armed forces.
We also recall an old performance in which a young Volodymyr Zelenskiy, then an actor not a politician, appeared in a Jamala New Year’s special.

Ukrainians have been doing the work; all the free world, if it still wants freedom, has to do is send the tools. It is an amazing story in the history of free people vs tyrants. And it's easier than ever to help.
My time traveling to such great places gave me the energy and lessons needed for this epic fight. Follow to listen to my daily Ukraine reports on Chicago's @wgnradio with the great Bob Sirott—every single weekday until victory. Goodnight and joy be to you all.
Today, YouTube suspended my account because of my May 2 Ukraine report on Chicago's @WGNRadio w/Bob Sirott—a report I've given every day on the ground since Russia's big invasion. Perhaps you could watch and tell me what I did wrong? I'm mystified ...
Why does #TuckerCarlson's departure from #FoxNews matter to me here in Ukraine?
1: With the largest cable news audience in the U.S., he’s been consistently one of the biggest voices against Ukraine. Even friends of mine believe some of the falsehoods he says about Ukraine.
2: Tucker was one of the first people with whom I spoke when I fled Fox News in a Hudson Valley car chase at age 27.
Tucker talks august words about fighting for freedom, but he castigates Ukraine, where people are literally fighting for freedom. That's been the Fox style: extracting huge amounts of American attention in return for little reliable information.
At Poland's @TVPWorld_com today I write, "If Tucker Carlson truly wants a post-Fox transformation, I invite him to Ukraine. I say here he will find human excellence, fierce democracy, and freedom-lovers. But beyond all that he can also find something more basic: the facts."

Joe Lindsley, also formerly from Fox News, invites Ukraine-skeptic Tucker Carlson to Ukraine: “Here he will find human excellence, fierce democracy, and freedom-lovers. But beyond all that he can also find something more basic: the facts.”
