Thank you; it’s nice to know that there are people out there who understand my state of mind right now. It is sad, isn’t it? No matter what we say or do, or even if we say nothing, we can still appear to be the bad guys or “problematic.” That some are painted to be such terrible people, when all we’ve been trying to do is spread positivity. This is exactly why I’ve been scared to speak up.
To be honest, I’ve been trying to be more active, but I don’t think everything has to be shared on the internet. In the end, to some people, it seems like what they see on social media is all that I am. I guess that’s the consequence of being a public figure, which I’ve come to terms with.
It hurts when I see my friends being called clout chasers or other terrible things, especially when they’ve given me so much love. Just know that I choose carefully who I surround myself with, and I will not apologize for choosing the people with whom I feel safe, loved, and happy.
They say hurt people hurt people, and that’s true. But remember, there are also people who are hurting but choose to be kind because that’s how they want others to treat them. Even when I’m at the peak of my emotions, I will choose not to hurt others, because you do to others what you want them to do to you.
If we don’t see eye to eye, that’s okay. Praying for you all❤️
Ganda ng sinabi ni Mikha. I hope everyone remembers that social media is not everything. It’s just a small sliver of real life. So let’s always be mindful. From time to time, ask yourself if you’re being too judgmental about any person just based on what you see on social media.
More importantly, not everything that can be said should be said. Always choose to be kind, because you will never go wrong if you do. Mahirap, pero kailangan.
Lastly, I’m really amazed at the eloquence and intelligence of these young ladies. They’re much more mature than their age. I hope more people are like them, especially here on social media.
