K-State DE Brendan Mott and Oklahoma State OL Preston Wilson pose for a picture in front of the Russ Stange Jr. memoriam limestone block

Stange Jr. was an OL at K-State in the late 80's. He passed from COVID issues in 2020

Mott roomed with Stange's son, Trevor, for a couple years when Trevor was an OL for the Wildcats

Wilson was childhood friends Trevor, both growing up northwest of Dallas

From Stange Jr.'s obituary:
"His passion was volunteering on the football field.  He spent numerous hours for 13+ years coaching and mentoring many of Coppell’s young football players – from flag football all the way up through high school, and even a few individuals at the collegiate level."
