On @MarcusRashford, some quick thoughts:

1/ We spent the last 12 months building him up, so now obviously the next thing is to tear him down. The recent news with Dele should have folks remember you don't always know what's happening behind the scenes.

2/ Football debate on here is always reacting to things that unfold over months (form, style of play etc.) in 2 minute increments (aka tweets).

3/ There was so much pressure to keep scoring goals on his shoulders last season, it'll take time for him to adjust to playing with a consistent striker ahead of him. Unlike FIFA you can't change a player from FWD -> LW with just a click of a button. It'll take a few games/weeks to build a connection with Rasmus.

4/ Medium term, I can see the rasmus/marcus connection growing. Both pacey, Rasmus left-footed complements Marcus' right side.. lots of potential, give the boys some time to work together. Relationships take two things: Time and Effort.

5/ Long term, culture change is hard, takes time, and happens in waves. The current wave crested 🌊, the goal is to make each subsequent improvement/wave better. Rashford is a part of that future.

Loving the club, supporting the manager, and not hating the player can all coexist.

Sometimes situations escalate or spiral because either side might not have thought through all the possible ramifications.

That being said, looking at Sancho's United career, I see a player that perhaps could use playing time away from the spotlight, perhaps in a team with less constant scrutiny.

Mental health is a 'state', there's no cure, but one can learn to manage and cope. Hope you've found some good tools for that 👍
