INC rally? For peace and transparency?
Eh lahat ng sangkot sa korapsyon sa Pilipinas ay mga inendorso nyo.
ito ang totoo, bahagi kayo ng problema ng bansa ngayon.
FAKE LEGAL ARGUMENTS OF DDS – BASAG!
✅ Former ICC Judge Raul Pangalangan:
"The jargon of the ICC is the principle of complementarity - if local courts are unwilling or unable genuinely to prosecute.
The usual defense of the Duterte camp is that this is an indictment of the entire Philippine legal system because our judicial system exists, the courts are still open.
But as I love to emphasize - there are two tests.
One test that they are responding to is that the courts are unable to prosecute. The other test is that courts are UNWILLING to prosecute.
For me, if the argument is that our courts are perfectly functioning, then how come out of the more than 6,000 officially recorded victims very few cases have moved forward.
And that was the logic of the court in saying there is principle of complementarity."
📝 Korina Sanchez:
"So is it necessarily unpatriotic to be subscribing to the indictment of the Philippine justice system?"
✅ ICC Judge Pangalangan:
"No, it is not unpatriotic. This element of patriotism has been manipulated. It appears that to side with the ICC is to join the condemnation of the Philippine judicial system. To the extent that it hasn't moved, of course it has to be condemned and called out for that. And there's nothing unpatriotic about stating the truth."

ICC Judge and international law expert Raul Pangalangan (also former UP Law Dean) has explained clearly that the ICC has jurisdiction and that Duterte cannot wiggle out of the case.
A true patriot and nationalist should support the prosecution of Duterte before the International Criminal Court – for the 6,000 to 30,000+ Filipinos murdered without due process. 🇵🇭
Walang uuwi! 👊

This is so true /pervasive (esp with older generations). It fucks you up.
It also drove a lot of queers into the (unhealthy) pursuit of self-advancement. It is shit to make a child internalize that they were nothing w/o achievements to make up for perceived deficiencies.
My biggest “What if”:
What if the Philippines could’ve been a first-world country years ago, if public funds hadn’t been siphoned off and investments weren’t crippled by graft?
Come to think of it, our country actually has what it takes to catch up fast. We have a young workforce, a rising GDP, a growing economy, and strong human-capital potential. ANG DAMING MAHUHUSAY AT MATATALINONG PILIPINO!
However, as we can all see with our very own eyes, BILLIONS (wouldn’t be surprised if even TRILLIONS) are lost to corruption, draining money that could pay for schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and many more.
Pwede ‘di ba? Pwede maging first-world country kung hindi lang tayo araw-araw ginagago.
